PROJECT CHALLENGE/SOLUTION
This project involved designing and installing HVAC and controls systems for the new headquarters for our valued customer and long-time project partner, ARCO National Construction Company, Inc. Our goal was to provide a system that achieved their objectives, operated efficiently and required little maintenance.
ARCO wanted an efficient building with low energy costs. We installed a a VAV/FTU system and a Delta Controls Building Automation System complete with a customized energy dashboard. We implemented and programmed energy optimization techniques for controlling the HVAC systems, to drive energy usage to the lowest possible level. ARCO also wanted redundancy built into their HVAC systems. To achieve this, we furnished and installed multiple packaged rooftop units that are interlocked via duct distribution and dampers.
