Wiegmann Associates has started work on an HVAC and building automation systems project for Clinica Family Health’s new medical clinic in Lafayette, Colorado.
The two-story, 65,000-square-foot facility will include 36 exam rooms, a reception area, a full dental clinic, pharmacy, training facility and administrative offices. Company officials said the project is scheduled for completion in early 2018.
The general contractor for the project is Brinkmann Constructors, which has offices in Aurora, Colorado. The engineer is Boulder Engineering and the project’s architect is Boulder Associates Architects, both based in Boulder, Colorado.
Clinica’s owner worked with Wiegmann and Brinkmann Constructors to select the HVAC system, which includes a direct-digital-control system to enhance climate control, and monitor and adjust system settings remotely from a single computer program.
