Wiegmann Associates recently completed work on the new clubhouse at Bogey Hills Country Club in St. Louis, MO. After the original 55-year-old building was destroyed in a fire back in February 2017, Wiegmann was chosen as Engineer of Record and Installing Mechanical Contractor for the construction of the new two-story clubhouse.
Wiegmann engineered a new energy-efficient and cost-effective HVAC system. A combination of multi-zone variable air volume (VAV) and single zone variable air volume packaged rooftop units were designed to minimize fan speed and fan energy consumption when possible. Wiegmann also designed and installed a DDC control system to optimize energy savings and provide the owner the benefit of remote monitoring/scheduling.
